Founded in 1998 near Munich (Germany), TOPTICA became one of the leading laser photonics companies by aiming for, and consistently delivering high-end specifications. TOPTICA develops and manufactures high-end laser systems for scientific and industrial applications. The portfolio includes diode lasers, ultrafast fiber lasers, terahertz systems and frequency combs. OEM customers, scientists, and over a dozen Nobel laureates all acknowledge the world-class exceptional specifications of TOPTICA’s lasers, as well as their reliability and longevity.

In order to serve the needs of the Chinese academic and industrial sectors in the markets of quantum technologies, biophotonics and materials (processing, test & measurement) better, TOPTICA Photonics China was founded in March 2019. 190 nm - 0.1 THz
TOPTICA's products provide an ultra-broad laser wavelength coverage: 190 nm - 0.1 THz (corresponding to 3 mm). They enable a big variety of demanding applications in quantum optics, spectroscopy, biophotonics, microscopy, test & measurement, as well as materials inspection. The unique wavelength range is based on three major product categories:

Diode Lasers: 190 - 4000 nm, with frequency-conversion techniques
Ultrafast Fiber Lasers: 390 nm - 15000 nm, (3500 nm customized) 5000 - 15000 nm
Terahertz Systems: 0.1 - 6 THz (15 THz customized)
Single-Mode Diode Lasers: 375 nm - 850 nm
Single-Frequency Diode Lasers: 193 - 785 nm
Amplified Diode Lasers: 660 - 1495 nm
Frequency-Converted Diode Lasers: 190 nm - 4000 nm
Frequency Combs: 420 - 2200 nm
Multi-Laser Engines: 405 nm - 640 nm

Ultrafast Fiber Laser

The PicoFYb laser systems are PM fiber-based picosecond oscillators using SAM mode-locking techniques for seeding industrial laser systems, e.g. for micro-machining. The PicoFYb laser pulses with excellent amplitude and frequency jitter parameters are amplified to typical multi-Watt levels in the MOPA (master oscillator, power amplifier) laser or regenerative amplifier systems of our customers. Typical amplifiers are slab, rod and disc lasers operating in the 1 µm wavelength regions.

Multi Laser Engines

The iChrome family of multi-laser engines addresses the need for lasers with multiple colors in biophotonics (microscopy, cytometry, DNA sequencing etc.) and metrology (scatterometry, ellipsometry).
iChrome family offers all the features and the necessary flexibility to address even challenging imaging and measurement techniques, either as standalone multi-laser source or fully integrated into existing instruments.
