About us

LAYERTEC produces high quality optical components for laser applications from Ø 3 mm up to 600 mm. The company combines a precision optics facility for plane, spherical and aspherical optics and a variety of coating techniques (magnetron and ion beam sputtering, thermal and ion assisted e-beam evaporation). This enables LAYERTEC to customize optical components with an optimum performance and cost efficiency. The variety in size and technology of our coating equipment allows high-volume fabrication as well as flexible prototype manufacturing for research and development. A staff of about 300 employees work in our precision optics facility and coating laboratories.
